CBD is considered exceptionally safe. At BOSS BioPharma, we manufacture to extremely high standards and always verify our cannabinoid profile which can be verified in our CoAs, you can be confident using any of our products.
Beware of any supplier who cannot verify their products; you have no idea what you are consuming or ordering otherwise.
CBD is a safe, non-intoxicating substance that does not have addictive properties.
CBD does not contain any THC, which THC is responsible for the “high” feeling experienced with cannabis products, therefore, CBD is not psychoactive.
There are a few different ways you can take CBD such as:
- CBD Oil Tinctures: taken under the tongue and held for several minutes for max absorption.
- Water Soluble CBD: Our bodies are comprised of mostly water and anything we put in our bodies that is not water soluble will not absorb as efficiently.
- CBD Paste: Highly concentrated full extract paste can be used orally as well as topically and is fast acting.
- Edibles: Very popular! Gummies and other edibles which allows the cannabinoids to absorb like a time release as the gummy digests and are available in many flavors.
- Creams and Salves: Helping with symptoms of pain & skin conditions when applied topically. CBD has been linked to relieve inflammation and pain.
- CBD Vape: Vapable CBD is used by many for anxiety and is the fastest absorbing method although not the longest acting.
- Bath & Body products: Your skin is the largest living organ on your body. Use a CBD bath bombs, soaps, and lotions to relax sore muscles, reduce inflammation, and decrease pain.
- CBD Pet Products: CBD oils, roll ons, and treats for pets to help with everything from seizures to separation anxiety.

CBD Terminology
Broad-Spectrum contains a combination of cannabinoids and terpenes but has all traces of THC removed. These CBD products have all traces of THC removed.
Full-spectrum is packed with cannabinoids like CBD, terpenes, and trace amounts of THC–less than the national legal limit of 0.3%–to maximize your unique benefits through the entourage effect.
CBD isolate is a pure form of CBD. It contains no other cannabis plant compounds. It usually comes from hemp plants, which typically contain very low amounts of THC. CBD isolate is a crystal form of CBD, and it is often ground up and sold as a powder
The Entourage Effect is the theory that all compounds in cannabis work together and, when taken in combination, they produce a better effect than when taken alone.
This means that in order to experience optimal health benefits you will want to find full-spectrum CBD products. If you can’t take THC, look for broad-spectrum CBD products. CBD Isolate will not provide the same effects, as it contains only the CBD cannabinoid.
Traditionally, tinctures are drugs or supplements that are dissolved and delivered in an alcohol base.
Instead of using something like co2 extraction, a CBD tincture is created by steeping parts of the hemp / cannabis plant in alcohol.
This creates a potent mixture that is typically more bitter than CBD oils. CBD tinctures should not contain THC, so they will not get you high.
Some people mistakenly refer to oil-based CBD blends as tinctures, but as we have established - a true tincture is in a base of alcohol.
Terpenes are the pungent oils that give cannabis its taste and smell and more than 100 have been identified.
Their ability to add flavour is one factor and the other is the fact that each one brings its own important therapeutic properties. It is believed that each terpene plays a different role in the effect of Cannabis.
Some examples of terpenes:
• Limonene – can elevate mood
• Caryophyllene – can help protect the gastrointestinal tract
• Myrcene – can aid sleep
Chemically they are both cannabinoid compounds, which makes their molecule look similar but they are very different. There are over 85 known cannabinoids; THC and CBD are the two most common, and therefore the most studied. THC is a psychoactive compound, whereas CBD is non-psychoactive.
THC Free CBD Oil is actually what is known as NDTHC or Non-Detectable THC Oil.
The CBD Oil has gone through a THC remediation process like chromatography or other remediation methods that bring the oil to a non-detectable level of THC, making it legal and compliant at 0.3% or lower as seen in our Broad-Spectrum Oil.
Cannabinol, or CBN, is a mildly psychoactive cannabinoid derived from oxidized or degraded THC. It's been praised for its healing properties and hailed as a sleep aid. While it's not as common as CBD, CBN is found in many cannabis products specifically for sleep.
CBN is almost always branded as a sleep-promoting product. Whether found in teas, tinctures, or edibles, the packaging is almost always dark blue, with moons, clouds, or other insignia signaling that the products are to be used when you're winding down for the night.
CBG, which stands for cannabigerol, is one of more than 100 cannabinoids found in hemp and cannabis plants. Young hemp plants produce cannabigerolic acid (CBGA). As the plant matures, CBGA breaks down into cannabidiolic acid (CBDA) and tetrahydrocannabinolic acid (THCA). These two compounds are then converted into CBD and THC. Any leftover CBGA is converted into CBG.
It’s possible that CBG has strong pain-relieving properties that may be more effective than THC. CBG may interact with the CB1 and CB2 receptors of the endocannabinoid system, which influence inflammation, pain, and even heat sensitivity. The cannabinoid may also have antidepressant, anticancer, and antibacterial qualities.
Private & White Labeling
CBD private labeling allows you to create a brand to best reach your defined target market without having to spend the time and expense normally associated with creating your own product(s) from scratch.
At BOSS BioPharma we will help you create, design and label your private label CBD products nationally or internationally.
This is probably the most important question you need to ask a wholesaler. Ask questions, ask to see lab reports. Any company producing a quality product will always have lab reports to back up their products.
In these reports you can find things such as: CBD %, THC %, residual solvent content, heavy metals, etc. There are many products out there that have been tested privately revealing low levels to no CBD, higher than legal amounts of THC and all sorts of nasty things you do not want in your body.
At BOSS BioPharma we ALWAYS have a third party test our distillate and CBD products. You are taking or reselling CBD for the health of your body and customers, make sure it has nothing in it that will come back to harm your business and don't make a decision on CBD because it's cheap. As with any thing else in life, you get what you pay for.
